Spheerol LZ

Castrol Spheerol™ LZ (previously named Energrease™ LZ) is a long-term multi-purpose grease with high adhesive strength and high mechanical and thermal stability. Spheerol LZ contains carefully selected base oil and lithium soap components which are resistant to oxidation as well as a highly efficient corrosion and oxidation inhibition. Spheerol LZ is approved according to Mercedes-Benz- fuel-specification page 267. Spheerol LZ is free of lead.

Application

Due to its high load carrying capacity and its water resistance Spheerol LZ is suited for the universal use in building site operations and in all transport devices. In addition it can be used in machines of the agricultural and forestry sector and also for demanding grease lubrication points in industrial gearboxes. Spheerol LZ is particularly suited for highly loaded rolling and plain bearings in a wet and dusty environment (e.g. universal joints, wheel hubs, sprockets, steering racks, etc.). The temperature range for this grease lies between - 20 °C and + 120 °C (for a short time even 130°C).
