Castrol Vecton Fuel Saver 5W-30 E6/E9 is a full synthetic low SAPS engine oil formulated with System Pro Technology for use in the latest European diesel engines including Euro VI and engines fitted with DPF.
It has been approved by many European engine manufacturers, including Mercedes-Benz and Volvo, and is approved to the latest MAN M3677 and Scania LDF-4 specifications, and so is useful in mixed fleet environments where SAE 30 oils can be used.
Castrol Vecton Fuel Saver 5W-30 E6/E9’s full synthetic formulation is capable of the extended service intervals offered by European manufacturers such as Mercedes Benz and MAN. It can also be used in low emission Euro IV & Euro V European trucks and buses, especially those requiring a low SAPS lubricant and in older on-road and off-road vehicles and equipment that require this performance level. It is suitable for use with low sulphur fuels.
Castrol Vecton Fuel Saver 5W-30 E6/E9 gave up to 1% fuel saving* in a Euro V engine using the World harmonized Transient Cycle test when compared to a modern top tier 15W-40 engine oil.
